https://www.npuatlanta.org/codeenforcementacademy

The Code Enforcement Academy, hosted by NPU University, is a free virtual training program designed to help City of Atlanta residents and employees better understand how code enforcement works and how they can support cleaner, safer, and more thriving neighborhoods.Through five interactive sessions led by City departments and partners, participants will learn how to identify, report, and track common code violations, including abandoned or blighted properties, illegal dumping, overgrown lots, trash in the right-of-way, premise violations, and substandard structures.
The academy also explains how ATL 311, public safety agencies, permitting and zoning teams, watershed management, public works, and the court system work together to address neighborhood concerns. Participants will leave with practical information they can use and share within their communities.
