This free 10-week game-based running program teaches all young athletes to work hard, be kind and have fun. Imagine all your child could achieve in just a few weeks. Kids receive T-shirts and other exciting incentives to motivate them to reach the goal of completing 13.1 or 26.2 total miles during the season. There are even opportunities to compete in FREE, fun mid-week runs and other Atlanta Track Club youth running events.

Kevin Leonpacher Atlanta PD / Underwood Hills Patrol New Teen Committee programs1/14/2025 In response to queries from members, incoming UHNA Communications Chair and Teen Committee Coordinator Caren Remillard has hit the ground running with two new opportunities for teens for 2025; BabySitters register and Yard Maintenance. (Note this is not for volunteer community service hours) Caren moved to Underwood Hills in 2017. She lives on Harper Street with her husband Ben and two young kids. You can learn more about her on the UHNA Leadership page. from Caren- “Hi Neighbors! The UHNA is compiling a list of neighborhood babysitters and a list of people interested in doing yard maintenance in the neighborhood. Below are forms for any Underwood Hills residents (including teens) to complete if they are interested. It’s particularly difficult to get in touch with our younger neighbors, so if you have a teenager at home who is interested, can you please send them the link? Many hands make sign stand up1/6/2025 Big thanks to neighbor Bert Jacobs for help reinstalling the fallen Habitat sign at the Park, to UHNA Treasurer Debbie for alerting us, Beautification Chair Seaver for the spit-and-polish and Bruce Kaufman for media support.
