In the 2-week period from August 22 – September 4, 60 incidents were reported in Beat 204. Of those, none occurred in the area we patrol.
Significant incidents:
- 8/24: A motorist pointed a firearm at another motorist on I-75 SB at Howell Mill Rd. The incident is under investigation by the Aggravated Assault Unit.
- 9/1: A female was shot at 2113 Defoors Ferry Rd. She was taken by private vehicle to Grady Hospital where she died. The incident is under investigation by the Homicide Unit and may be drug related.
- 9/4: A physical altercation between friends at 1999 Defoor Avenue led to one stabbing the other with a knife. The incident is under investigation by the Aggravated Assault Unit.
